Whistic pricing is quote-only on whistic.com, but its AWS Marketplace listing publishes the contract prices: $15,500 a year for the Core AI package, $23,000 for Trust Center Professional AI, and $31,750 to $76,000 for the Assess AI tiers, which scale from 75 to 500 vendor assessments a year. Vendr's purchase data puts the median Whistic buyer at $22,500 a year, across 77 contracts from $13,350 to $45,000.

The two sources tell you different things. The AWS listing is the list price for a 12-month contract bought through your AWS account. The Vendr range shows what companies actually sign once tier, add-ons and negotiation are counted, and its median sits much closer to Core than to the Assess tiers. Below is what each package includes, what the add-ons cost, the per-assessment arithmetic nobody publishes, and what to ask before you sign.

How much does Whistic cost?

Whistic costs about $22,500 a year for the median buyer, according to Vendr, which tracks 77 Whistic purchases with an average negotiated saving of about 15 percent. The published list prices start at $15,500 a year for Core AI and rise to $76,000 for the Assess AI Enterprise tier. Whistic's own pricing page shows no figures and sends every package to a request-pricing form.

One inconsistency is worth knowing before a sales call. Vendr's header says 60 deals handled while its pricing panel counts 77 purchases, and older copies of the same page showed a $20,313 median across 72 purchases. Treat the median as a band around $20,000 to $22,500 rather than a precise number.

Whistic pricing plans compared

The whistic.com pricing page lists five packages: Core, Assess, Trust Center, Assess + and Trust +. The AWS listing names them Core AI, Assess AI in four tiers, and Trust Center Professional AI. Every package includes unlimited vendors and unlimited users, so you are metered on assessments and AI usage, not on how many suppliers sit in your inventory.

PackageAWS list, 12 months24 monthsWhat is included
Core AI$15,500$29,45025 assessments, 25 Assessment Copilot uses, 25 Vendor Insights, 5 Smart Responses, 1 Trust Center
Trust Center Professional AI$23,000$43,7003 Trust Centers, 100 Smart Responses, 25 assessments

Assess AI Professional$43,250$82,175150 assessments, same workflow features
Assess AI Premium$54,750$104,025250 assessments
Assess AI Enterprise$76,000$144,400500 assessments

The 24-month price is exactly 1.9 times the annual price, a 5 percent saving for committing a second year. There is no 36-month option on the listing, and fees are non-cancellable and non-refundable. One more discrepancy: whistic.com gives Core 5 Copilot uses and 5 Vendor Insights, while the AWS listing gives Core 25 of each. Get the number written into your order form.

What Whistic's add-ons cost

Whistic sells capacity in blocks on top of the package, and most real quotes include at least one of them. These are the 12-month AWS list prices.

Add-on12-month list priceWhat it buys
25 additional assessments$3,000Standard vendor assessments

Vendor Monitoring is the one line priced off your total spend rather than off a quantity. Cross $30,000 of platform spend and the same feature costs $2,750 more.

What does one vendor assessment cost on Whistic?

Divide each package price by the assessments it includes and the curve is steep: a Core assessment costs $620, an Assess AI Enterprise assessment $152. The add-on pack is the cheapest unit on the listing at $120 an assessment. That makes the real buying question how many assessments you run a year and whether you need the workflow features that only the Assess tiers carry.

PackageAssessments a yearList priceCost per assessment
Core AI25$15,500$620
Assess AI Standard75$31,750$423
Assess AI Professional150$43,250$288
Assess AI Premium250$54,750$219
Assess AI Enterprise500$76,000$152
Add-on pack25$3,000$120

Here is the scenario sales calls skip. A team that needs 75 assessments a year can buy Core plus two add-on packs for $21,500, or Assess AI Standard for $31,750. The $10,250 difference pays for the Automation Orchestrator, the custom questionnaire builder with logic, and intake forms. If your process runs on a standard questionnaire and a manual intake email, that is a lot to pay for features you will not use. The listing does not say the packs are restricted to particular packages, so ask the rep to quote both shapes side by side.

Whistic pricing by program size

Vendr publishes its own estimate of where buyers land by assessment volume. These are Vendr's bands, not Whistic list prices, and they include add-ons.

Program sizeAssessments a yearVendr's estimated annual costClosest AWS package
Small team50 to 100$15,000 to $40,000Core plus packs, or Assess AI Standard
Mid-market100 to 250$40,000 to $80,000Assess AI Professional or Premium
Enterprise250 or more$80,000 to $150,000 or moreAssess AI Enterprise plus monitoring and modules

Vendr also estimates implementation at $5,000 to $20,000 or more depending on tier. The AWS listing shows no implementation fee, so ask whether onboarding is bundled before you compare quotes. If your vendor inventory is large but you only reassess critical suppliers each year, size the contract on the assessments you will actually run, which is usually a fraction of the vendor count. Our guide to third-party risk management software pricing shows the unit each TPRM vendor bills in, which matters more than any single quote.

Whistic vs Scrutineer pricing

Compare the two on the same job. Scrutineer publishes every price on its pricing page and does not meter assessments or questionnaires.

Read it honestly. Whistic wins if your vendors already publish Whistic profiles, because pulling a profile beats sending a questionnaire, and it wins on the trust center and on breach monitoring. Scrutineer wins on price transparency, on unmetered assessments and questionnaire answers, and when the same team also runs your own SOC 2 or ISO 27001 program. If you are still choosing rather than negotiating, the Whistic alternatives comparison covers features side by side, and our vendor risk management software page shows how unlimited vendor scoring works.

Is Whistic worth the price?

Whistic is worth it when a meaningful share of your vendors already maintain a Whistic profile and when you assess enough suppliers to reach the Assess tiers, where the cost per assessment falls below $300. It is a harder sell for a team running 30 to 60 assessments a year on a standard questionnaire, because that volume costs $18,500 to $21,500 on Core plus packs, roughly $360 to $620 an assessment, and the Assess tiers add workflow features the team may not need.

Vendor onboarding rarely stops at the security review either. Procurement usually also has to track each vendor's certificate of insurance and its expiry dates, and no TPRM package on this listing does that, so count it as a separate line in the budget.

How do you negotiate Whistic pricing?

Start from the AWS list prices, which are public and give you a ceiling to point at, and size the contract on the assessments you will really run. Vendr's 15 percent average saving is lower than in most compliance software, so expect the movement to come from package shape and term rather than from a deep discount on the first quote.

  • How many assessments does this quote include, and is the next block priced at the $3,000 list or higher?
  • Are Copilot uses and Vendor Insights 5 or 25 on Core, and is that number in the order form?
  • Can we buy Core plus assessment packs instead of Assess AI Standard, and what exactly do we lose?
  • Does Vendor Monitoring move to the $8,250 band once our total spend passes $30,000?
  • Is implementation included, and is an AWS Marketplace private offer available so the spend counts toward our cloud commitment?
  • What is the renewal price, and is the annual increase capped in writing?
